Zafiro Palace Alcudia

Extremely clean ,very friendly and helpful staff. Great room very spacious. Food good and plenty of choice. Only down was the amount of very young screaming children in the evenings at dinner. Perhaps the A La Carte restaurants should be adult only after 8pm. Next time will book Adullt only!!

Everything about this hotel is fantastic, except perhaps it's location. The whole hotel is modern, clean and well maintained. The facilities are excellent including the pools, spa, restaurants and bars. The buffet food is delicious and varied daily, plus there are 4 very nice a la carte restaurants on site too. The only negative is the location; Port d'Alcudia is not the best town, however Alcudia old town is just a short taxi ride away and this is well worth a visit.

Went on holiday with two toddlers (2 and 4 yo). Had an amazing time. Great pools, amazing fresh food (some dishes were to die for), very nice room with a pool view and friendly staff. Happy to come back.

This Hotel was very good from the moment you arrive staff are friendly service is very good rooms are nice and bright. Like most holidays you need to be out and about early for a sun bed the evening entertainment let the Hotel down but all in all a very enjoyable holiday.

the hotel and staff are superb the only let down is adult entertainment at night.all you had was a screen showing different artist each night.the emphasis is on young family entertainment not on adults without young children

One of the best holiday hotels I have been too, nothing was too much trouble rooms were great, food was definitely 5 star, will definitely be going back, nice touch when checking in you are offered a glass of sparkling wine, or whatever you want,

First class hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean. Facilities are fantastic and cater for all age ranges. Great selection of food and always varied. I will certainly be back.

Probably the best 5 star family resort we've been. Fantastic ambience from the moment you arrive. Excellent restaurants with no limit on usage and easy to book. Worth every penny and we will definetly consider viva resorts again

We had a swim up room which was lovely. Very spacious with a huge bed and great outdoor decked garden area with a big round day bed, sun loungers, table and chairs and direct access to a pool. Unfortunately the pool was not exclusively for the use of the people who had swim up rooms and there were about 20 sun loungers and 2 Balinese beds which could be used by any of the other guests. There was an area for adults only which had lots of Balinese beds and a small pool which never got too busy so there was no need to rush in the morning to reserve one of these beds as this area never got crowded. The staff were all very helpful and polite and they kept the hotel and grounds immaculate. One word of warning if you are travelling as a couple please be aware that this hotel is primarily a family resort and there were lots of children staying when we were there. The facilities for children seemed to be excellent but if you are looking for peace and quiet you would be advised to book somewhere else. Also the dress code for the dining room which was described as elegant/ casual was not adhered to.

Just returned home from a 10 night stay with 4 friends, hotel is so clean and smells beautiful as you enter reception, greeted by lovely staff who gave us a room on the 2nd floor over looking the pool, the rooms were big and the beds very comfortable, the bathroom was a bit strange all open plan and the although the toilet had a door it was see through so not a lot of privacy. I know a lot of people have said this in other comments so I think the hotel needs to make the bathroom a bit more private that would be my only negative on this hotel. The pools were fantastic not deep so great for swimming, the kids zone is brilliant for all ages of kids, plenty of activities for the kids of all ages, the food is fantastic we were breakfast only but plenty of it + great variety. The entertainment at night was brilliant all different acts each night, The spa and indoor pool was great I had a massage which was for a hr at 60 euro which was good value as many other hotels charge a lot more, reflexology was priced at 35 euro for 35mins. again good value and well looked after. The location of the hotel is a 5 min walk to the beach shops and restaurants and bus stops are again 5min walk they go to old town of Alcudia priced at 1 euro.55 and well worth a visit, Port a Palencia is another good spot to go beautiful scenery and beach priced about 5euros in bus and 10 euros in a taxi. Palma is 5euros 40 one way and gets you there in about 50mins. When you are on the beach take a trip on a speedboat 35euros for 1hr, also another good trip is another type of speedboat holds 12 people but takes you to caves, a national park and a lovely fishing village for snacks and sangria for 4hrs priced at 49euro well worth it. The beds on the beach are priced at 5euros.

Return visit to this hotel says it all and it is definitely worth the 1hr transfer. The service at the hotel is very good with many individuals who go out of there way to make your stay fantastic. The room (Junior Suite) was perfect and as I was travelling with my brother in law and his family I requested rooms close together and if possible the same one as last time as it was near the pirate ship, I got a response from the hotel saying they would try to do this so when we arrived I was made up when we got the same room as last time and my brother in law was in the room next door with 3 girls under 3 this was great as they could all play together in either room. Location is great as it is just a 5 minute walk to the shops and beach front with its many bars and restaurants. The first couple of days were not to great weather wise so we made the most of the indoor pool and cbeebies on the TV in the room played games and went to the kids club. The rooms, service, food, amenities and general appearance and well maintained pools and gardens are a bonus and they are always trying to improve all in all we will be returning to the Zafiro for many years to come.
