| Hotel Dom Pedro Marina Vilamoura Algarve |
I stayed at the hotel with friends we had a
suite which consisted of main bedroom with ensuite bathroom and
balcony, second bedroom, second bathroom (not ensuite), sitting
room and large balcony. The rooms were comfortable, very clean
with lots of storage space. Hotel is mainly adults as there are not any facilities for children. The location for the Marina could not be better as all facilities are close by. Good choice for breakfast each day with most tastes catered for, but remember, no-one does an English breakfast like the English, and this is Portugal! However, the restaurant is very pleasant and the Manager very attentive. The evening menu is not extensive, but makes up in quality, taste and presentation. The bar and lounge area encourage relaxation. This is a perfect hotel for a peaceful holiday in a very select location. We will return soon. |

I stayed two weeks and during this time the people changed quite frequently, their week or two weeks holiday being completed. What stood out particularly was that as each batch of new arrivals came into the lounge in the evening they met up with people staying who they knew from previous stays at this particular hotel. If you have any doubts about the hotel, I think this speaks for itself, others were making arrangements to meet up next year, or even later this year, believe it or not. The breakfast was basic but did the job with the usual cereal or cooked option. The pool was on the small side but was clean and sufficient, but with the sea being 100m away it did not matter. Due to the short notice time off i had, i was travelling on my own, The beach and promenade were raked and cleaned daily. A number of restaurants nearby offer fresh seafood...my only point would be to watch out with the seafood restaurants. |

The hotel is situated opposite the stunning
beach and next to bars and restaurants. We have just spent a
week in this hotel and I can highly recommend it. Request a room
with a balcony for a guaranteed sea view. It has a sea front
location and is very clean. Towels and sheets are changed daily.
The breakfast provided is excellent with a varied choice of
either hot or cold food to suit any tastes. There is
entertainment in the hotel bar most nights We would come to this hotel again it was a lovely stay i expect in the summer it is a good location for the younger generation as there is an abundance of bars in close locality. |

We booked the holiday 10 days before we went so were amazed how brilliant it was to say we had booked last minute. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel and room was as some of the reviews we had read werent that good. The reception staff were brilliant, very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The pool and the garden was in excellent conditions and very spacious with sun beds. The Oura road main bar street is just +- 300mts away but the hotel place was on a quite zone. The beach was 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The crowd there was a nice mix of male and female groups, couples and families and everyone seemed to get on with everyone! The food was decent enough and there drinks fairly priced. Overall we had a brilliant time at Dom Pancho and would definitely go back again. |
