The food seemed geared towards the Italians
which was fantastic as lots of variety and the standard was
superb for Egypt which seems quite low in some other hotels. The
grounds and hotel premises were very clean and well-done with
lots of green, trees, and shrubs. Our ground floor room had a
beautiful balcony and terrace that gave us a seaside view
(although the hotel is not directly on the beach), and immediate
access to the pool. However, in December the pool which was not
heated was way too cold - but the beach was much warmer. There
is also adult activities all around the beach and hotel. I
didn't do all of them, but my wife enjoyed the stretch class,
water aerobics, yoga. I saw also ping pong, beach volleyball,
dartboard, and I'm sure much more which I didn't see. My
favourite was the private walkway pier from the beach to the
mini coral reefs out in the sea. I bought a simple snorkel mask
in town for $5 USD and was able to snorkel my heart's content
all for free at the beach. It was great. Amazing fish of all
sorts and shapes and colours. I was circled by a whole school of
yellow/silver fish. In the evenings, there is a kids' mini disco at 9:30 pm and then an animation show for adults at 10:00 pm. |
