| Tropical Hotel San Antonio Ibiza |
The hotel is very clean and the staff are
friendly and helpful. Although we did not have a balcony this did not effect us as the air conditioning is good and the pool is only across the road. The location of the hotel is excellent, it is a minute walk away from the west end, however once inside the hotel we couldnt hear any outside noise. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and the pool and surrounding area was cleaned morning and night when it closed. The food was hit and miss. There isn't much choice if you are a vegeterian like myself, although once the staff knew they did offer to make me spaghetti and tomato sauce instead of what was on offer. However, the breakfast was fine and there was a great choice from fry up's to cereal. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. |
| Hotel Brisa San Antonio Ibiza |
Had an absolute brilliant time in Ibiza,
second time being there and the Brisa was an amazing hotel, the
staff were brilliant and I have to give an extra mention to Tony
the night receptionist an absolute legend who went out of his
road to do everything for us. He has a tough job but was nothing
but pleasant to us. Rooms - I thought the size of the room was adequate for 2 people sharing but probably not for more than 2. They were basic and not very fashionable but to be expected they were immaculate. Cleaned everyday and change of towels everyday unless you put a sign on your door not to. The pool is a decent size and very clean and theres enough sun loungers for everyone. |
| Algarb Hotel Playa D'en Bossa Ibiza |
As soon as we arrived i knew this was the
hotel for us, The Staff are amazing, they cannot do enough for
you n soo polite. The rooms were spotless, cleaned everyday
apart from one which is their day off, bed linen and towels
changed every other day which is good. The pool is lovely and
relaxing, also the pool is cleaned regular, The bars are great
the bar staff make special achol drinks for us. The
entertainment is also good involving the guests, never boring. Will definately recommend going there, i will certainly be returning. |
| Hotel Miami Ibiza Playa Es Cana Ibiza |
We have just come back after 2 weeks at this
hotel and for location it certainly can not be faulted, right on
the beach. First of all I would like to say anyone who could find things to complain about this hotel must just like to moan. When we arrived the receptionists were very curteous and well organised. We went to our room, which I must say was lovely, but didnt have a sea view as requested, rang down to reception and we were transferred to another room which was just as spacious with an interconnecting room and with a sea view. Maids were in every day to clean the room and change the towels. There is a large pool that in the apartments with a small area for kids & the miami hotel also had a large pool, however we used the one in the apartments. They were situated right on the beach and you could walk right along into the town. Es canar is a nice quiet resort with a few small fairs for the kids to enjoy. As for the restaurants they are much for the British tourist but we found a few nice resturants. If you like a nice steak try the resturant Es Cana next to the bus station 16 euros for a huge t bone. For the Italian try the resturant italiana on the left on the main street lovely food and the owner is fantastic. He is very generous with free shots for the adults and ice cream for the kids. He even gave me and my wife a free bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. |
| Blau Parc Hotel San Antonio Ibiza |
Great hotel far enough out of San An to be quiet but close enough for the shops and the sunset bars. Staff were excellent always smiling, room cleaned and changed every day, great aircon. Food a bit plain but edible and no gippy tum which is great for buffet style food. Blau Park has a well isolated pool area - large and clean and very nice to relax but just some meters away from the sunset promenade of San Antonio. After a relaxing pool session, you might want to step out of the private hotel door directly to the public beach and to take a walk down to Café del Mar. Breakfast and snacks are OK, making this also a choice for the eventual business traveller. We visited Ibiza Town which was much more cosmopolitan than San An, with people from all over Europe, a variety of enticing restaurants, great bars, hundreds of market stalls selling everything and anything and a lovely historic centre with a castle too. It's also much closer to the big clubs too. |
| Hotel Tres Torres Santa Eulalia Ibiza |
The reception staff were superb and always addressed you by name. The food was excellent and catered for the English middle- age palate e.g - pate and whole salmon for starters, carved roasts, steak pie (that was as good as home) and lots of fish/prawn dishes, mixture of dessert and a good cheese board. We saw the head chef regulary checking quality and presentation of the food. The waiting and bar staff were also extremely kind and friendly and guests would often receive flowers or sweets upon leaving the dining hall. There is a great book cabinet in reception where many people have left books and there is quite a good collection. There was good nightly entertainment and a very cute train which stops outside the hotel and takes you to various other places. The hotel is in a great location for the many shops, bars and restaurants close by. |
