| Letoonia Club & Hotel Fethiye Turkey |
The hotel is beautiful, the surrounding and
lay out pleasing. Our luggage was taken by bell boys, we had
booked a bungalow, As the sun raised my mood got better as the
sheer beauty of this place became apparent, the whole resort is
full of pretty flowers and palm trees. I was truly amazed by the
cleanliness of the resort, all the public toilets are clean 24/7
and there are also plenty of baby changing facilities which was
great. The food in the resort is excellent. There was plenty of
variety and mostly freshly prepared. We went to the Turkish and
Fish a la carte restaurants which were excellent considering you
don’t have to pay extra this. There was always plenty of food as well so we didn’t starve. Don’t listen to all the moaners who only like burgers and chips. The beer and wine were good although the cocktails were made with cheap alcohol but tasted ok. There is also a lovely play area and kids club for the little ones on the resort. The boat to Fethiye was very handy although it could go more often. The entertainment at night was brilliant, especially the shows. They made the holiday for us. The reps were good, getting kids and adults involved in everything, and you will be amazed by their extensive range of languages. I think there were guests from every part of Europe there. |
| Hotel Antique Palace Marmaris Turkey |
This hotel is fantastic, everything was great, The food was fantastic, the fish bowls, the drinks were great and pool was always clean and never fighting for a sunbed early in the morning. :) Everyone was always happy to help you, also their manager of Antique Palace he was ace! The beach is a ten min walk, and the night life is cheap in a taxi. The night life is amazing also, if you are into your clubs, the best one is Bar x , cocktails, fish bowls, lovely people great ,music! What else do you need and you can always get a kebab on the way home. The staff are great they made us feel so welcome. Emhet was lovley guy and so was sam, always shaking ure hands asking how you are. Overall me and my partner were very pleased with this hotel and i would definatly go back there. |
| Hotel The Tower Olu Deniz Turkey |
This Hotel for us was great, The staff are great and go out of their way to assist you in any way. The rooms were perfect...small balcony with night light....the bathroom looked new, all cleaned daily. The pool area was great with lots of sun loungers, Entertainment was good and they involve the guests also which is great and it enables people to get to know one another whilst you are there. We also went to Pamukkale, we booked with sea horses and went with pioneer travel. This was a long day, getting picked up at 6.15am and not back to the hotel until about 8.30pm, but it was well worth it! Pamukkale is amazing, I have never seen anything like it, no wonder it is called the 8th wonder of the world!. |
| Ata Lagoon Hotel Olu Deniz Turkey |
I stayed at the Ata Lagoon Beach for 2 weeks
in May. I had a lovely holiday and met some great new friends
both English and Turkish. The staff were absolutely fantastic with us. They were caring, generous and very friendly. They are overworked and probably underpaid but they bend over backwards to accomodate your wishes. The manager is ever present making sure things run as smooth as possible. the hotel served excellent food at possibly the cheapest price in the area, well cooked and very tasty so we ate there every other night, the full english b/f was second to none but bare in mind this is an extra cost as the normal b/f is Turkish. Jeep trip..excellent fun and some beautiful scenes but be prepare to get very wet and very dirty, I would recommend taking a bandana to put over your nose to stop choking your lungs. The deep gorge is one of the stops and stunning scenery, you stop to take photos of the cliff tombs but you do not go near enough to go in. Paragliding..enough said already...mind blowing, In general...one of the best holidays I have had, great hotel, great resort, great fellow holliday makers, not too much hassle and loads of laughs. |
| Hotel Asena Beach Olu Deniz Turkey |
Transport from airport to Olu Deniz, is about one and half hour. Plus what extra time for getting people to different hotels. Check in was quite quick specially that we were only people checking in:D we have been given cards to our room which you use in bar in hotel instead paying in cash all the time. The hotel was a good 3 star, Our bags were taken care of by staff, noone expected us to tip but we did. Room has been cleaned every day dont know if fridge is actually stocked every day as we never used it. you get safe in room but you have to pay for it not much about £10 a week. Good there is air con in room cause can get really hot. Hotel grounds are quite nicethere is a lot off shade:) Pool is quite nicely divided you prrety much get 3 squares. First really tiny one is separate from big pool and is for kids and is about 0.5m deep so most toddlers with parents hang around that one next one is part off big pool and is about 1m or 0.8m deep not sure now, next one is up to 1.3 m and last bit is quite deep probbaly 1.8m or 2m but because its in those 3 square shapes connected it creates different areas so most kids are in other end off pool. so it's quite nice if you dont want to be disturbed. Bar staff are getting all the drinks and snack for you. They are really nice and we spend nites talking to them, they make very strong drinks :). |
| Negris Beach Hotel Marmaris Turkey |
Nergis hotel made our first time in turkey fantastic and well worth it. The receptionist was freindly and asked us to complete registration giving in passports. I think the staff at the hotel are fab. they are all really friendly and cannot do enough for you especially Marco! Marco the entertainer really mingles with all the guests and always had time for you organised something diffierent every night as we were only there for a week even took my boyfriend and some other boys form the hotel to play football in the local ground Britian V Turkey. Also recommend the trip to Bar st he organises. The food was nice but very very repetetive. Was always turkey, chicken and meatballs. Would have been perfect if only there was more variety and choice with the food. The food wasnt horrible just very repetetive. Mehmet in the restaurant was another member of staff who stood out, his english wasnt the best but would always talk to you and make you smile. The hotel also has a fab photographer who will take photos of you and then you choose the ones you like and he gives you a very good price. Will be going back next year. |
| Club Julian Hotel Marmaris Turkey |
Hotel Julian is perfect place to stay in Marmaris, set away from the centre but within 20 minutes walk, so best of both worlds. I love Marmaris & hope to live there one day. Club Julian was exclusive to british tourists and with 3 large swimming pools, plenty of sunbeds, excellent entertainment team which were funny & amusing keeping both the children & adults entertained throughout the day & evening. The hotel was very clean, the room was basic but got cleaned eveyrday. Staff were friendly and helpful. The wristbands were great as you dont have to carry any money around but sometimes a pain when it runs out and your hungry! Had turkish bath in hotel on first day and was amazing definately recommend and helped our tan! The rooms were so clean, they were cleaned everyday and we were given clean towels everyday, the maid even made some lovely things out of the towels which was nice to come in from a day at the pool to. |
| Hotel Telmessos Hisarounu |
You get what you pay for. Rooms are very small, painted/decorated in loud colours but clean, power shower in proper cubicle so don't know how some people had bathroom floors wet through, maybe they don't know your'e supposed to close the doors once your in!! Bar staff fine as where all the other staff. Position of hotel is excellent, take a right out of the hotel and second left and you are bang in the centre. We British need to get realistic, if you want luxury, fork out for it and stop complaining about nonsenses. |
